Tiscali Band Showcase Featuring The Crimea, WOMB and Constantine

Tiscali continue their new band showcases with the next showcase happening on March 24 at London's Islington Bar Academy.

Bands announced for the night include headliners The Crimea, political punk rappers Weapons Of Mass Belief and the sassy Constantine.

Tiscali will be filming the bands showcases and hosting three tracks from each band on log on to see a wealth of live performances and interviews with some of the UK’s hottest talent.

Headliners The Crimea make music that is both lush and lacerating. The band has been heralded by the music press who have been comparing The Crimea to such greats as The Flaming Lips and Leonard Cohen.

Originating from Wales, Weapons Of Mass Belief cross punk-rock with rapped vocals, you have to see to believe what some have described as “Eminem and Supergrass playing at the same time”.

Opening act Constantine are an A&R man’s dream, three eighteen year old girls who bonded at school over their dislike for maths. The band make angsty, pop punk that you can pogo to – let’s face it, you will be getting their early.
