The Orielles Announce A Debut Album

Halifax based group, The Orielles, have today announced the details of their debut album. Titled Silver Dollar Moment, it will be released via Heavenly Recordings in February 2018.

Recorded at Eve Studio in Stockport, the album is preceded by the video for the single 'Let Your Dogtooth Grow', which was also shot in Manchester.

The Orielles is made up of sisters, Sidonie B, Esme Dee Hand Halford and their friend Henry Carlyle Wade. Still only aged 21, 18 and 17 respectively, their youth lacks no wisdom.

Talking about their video, the group said: "The initial idea behind the video was to try and create something that combined aesthetic features from a range of our favourite filmmakers and auteurs. For example, the red faces are a subtle nod to David Lynch, the close-ups of Esme entering the dream state are reminiscent of Nicolas Winding-Refn."

Having already sold out shows across the country, the group have two remaining live dates for 2017 and will be making a return next year with a string of European and UK dates.

The album can be preordered through the Heavenly Records website.
