The Long Road Festival announces first acts

Kip Moore

After a successful debut in 2018 The Long Road Festival is back for a second year in a field in Leicestershire. The headliners are a UK debut for Josh Turner and a return for fan favourite Kip Moore.

Beyond the headliners are a terrific first round of artists including a first appearance in a decade for Asleep At The Wheel, the wicked Americana-folk stylings of Rhiannon Giddens, former Civil War John Paul White and Nashville’s Eric Paslay and Morgan Evans

Also on the line-up are one of country’s finest new acts, Lainey Wilson (who we’ve been raving about), Texan Jaime Wyatt, Sam Outlaw, bouncy po-rockers LANCO, and country-rockers The Steel Woods.

I couldn’t be more excited to share what we have in store for year two of The Long Road. After such a warm embrace by Country and Americana fans in year one, we got straight to work on the line-up and experience for this year and it promises to be even better. Top notch artists, hands on experiences, and great food, all in a world created just for music fans really is something special. I can’t wait for the gates to open.”
