Sobs Announce Their Debut Album

Singapore-based trio, Sobs, have today announced the details of their forthcoming debut album. Telltale Signs will be released in full on 22nd June and the title track is available to hear immediately.

Reminiscent of groups such as Alvvays, Japanese Breakfast and Night Flowers, Sobs' indie-pop is full of upbeat melodies, jangly guitars and subtle melancholy. The album has been mastered by Paul Gold, known for his work with the likes of Yo La Tengo, Beach House and Angel Olsen.

“The songs I write end up as stories or past memories that I’ve left behind,” explains frontwoman, Celine Autumn, “I’m not the best at speaking my mind, so I gravitate towards investing all of that emotion into the music.”

With cult followings in the US and Southeast Asia after the release of their EP, CatflapSobs are set to take on the world with their first full album.
