The Seal Cub Clubbing Club - “SUPER SCIENCE FICTION”
NEW ALBUM released 4h may on jack to phono records

Press release-ah!

Recorded under the guiding hand of producer Barney (Arctic Monkeys, Kasabian), Super Science Fiction is a smartly diverse collection of songs 'that veers dangerously close to being unlistenable without actually becoming so', the band tell us.

In the shortest time since they first came together on the Wirral Peninsula, this enigmatic Liverpool 5 piece have been on tour with The Fall, British Sea Power, Field Music, Black Wire, Brakes (twice) and Idiot Pilot enjoyed support from the likes of Steve Lamacq, who brought them in for interview on his BBC 6 Music radio show and played Glastonbury 2008.

For this album, the media uptake is brilliant. “Dawn Lamb” together with other tracks have been broadcast on BBC 1 by Rob Da Bank and Huw Stephens, XFM by John Kennedy and BBC 6 Music by Gideon Coe and Marc Riley.

Warm up gigs, rumors of ‘introducing stage’ appearances in all major festivals, the ultimate release of the album and more touring is still to come. The majority of The SCCC story is yet to be written – and it promises to be a corker, reaching the very top of the international best sellers list…
