Soulful pop singer-songwriter, Nina Smith, is among the most talked about artists on the Nottingham music scene with her latest EP release reaching number 4 in the RnB iTunes chart. Nina has supported artists such as Belinda Carlise, Finley Quaye and Alicia Dixon and has recorded sessions at Maida Vale studios broadcast on BBC Radio 1 and BBC 1Xtra. After signing a production deal with super producer Yoad Nevo (Sia, Goldfrapp, Sugababes) Nina has written songs for artists who have performed her work to millions of people.
Single ‘Run Out’ is about Nina’s experience with troubled and unbalanced relationships close to her, and how challenging they can be. The chorus embellishes an unforgettable hook with lyrics focusing on coping with the adversity of having people ‘run out’ of her life, while the verse focuses specifically on her dedication to remaining loyal to her loved ones in trouble, only to not have that returned when her own difficulties arise.
