Nottingham based four-piece Swound! Will be releasing new single ‘In My Head’ on 28th November. This will be followed by the band’s debut album Into The Sea which will be released on the band’s own label The Grelmin Corporation early next year. Swound! will be touring with Electric Six before Christmas and are also plotting live dates for next year.

Little Roy has announced details of the release of a new single. 'Lithium' will be released through Ark Recordings on Monday December 5th 2011. The single is lifted from his recent album with Prince Fatty and Mutant Hi-Fi, Battle For Seattle, a collection of 10 songs recorded by Nirvana covered by the legendary Little Roy in a reggae style.


Hot on the heels of their first American tour with new frontman Wade MacNeil, Gallows release a new EP titled ‘Death Is Birth’, due for digital release on the 5th of December. The EP will feature the following new tracks – ‘Mondo Chaos’, ‘True Colours’, ‘Hate! Hate! Hate!’ and ‘Death Is Birth’.

A limited edition vinyl version will be released through Thirty Days Of Night Records on the 13th of December and is available to pre-order now on the following link:

The EP will be available from itunes from December 5th.

Gallows play a sold out show at XOYO in London on the 13th of December and have added another date at the Kingston Peel on the 14th of December.


Having recently played at MTV Exit in Manila in support of raising awareness of human trafficking, as well as playing their own sold-out gig in Hong Kong, Evaline are about to embark on a clutch of UK dates, including some shows with Bush.

Brooklyn-based Pure Love will make their live debut at London's Bush Hall venue next year on February 14th. The duo will be playing as part of the NME Awards Shows line-up taking place throughout February. Tickets are on sale now.


Scala & Kolacny Brothers' next single will be their take on U2's 'With Or Without You', performed with Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall. The track is out on December 12th through Sony Music, the day before they play London's HMV Forum where McDowall is scheduled to make a guest appearance. Tickets are on sale now from here.


London-based indie pop-rockers The Tricks will release their debut single, double A-side 'Just For The Summer / Remember Me', on February 6th through Unison Music Group. 300 copies of the limited edition 7" will be available at their London headline show at Concrete on November 30th. London's O2 Arena will be putting on a series of free gigs as part of their December Sessions, which run December 3rd-22nd. Over 100 up-and-coming acts will play over the 20 nights, with each night seeing five acts taking to a specially constructed stage in London Piazza at The O2. Acts confirmed include Nikki Garnett, The Sea And I (former Hoosiers front man Irwin Sparkes' new band) and Belakiss. Alongside the live music, there will also be a photography exhibition from Carsten Windhorst and a 'Silent Gig', an audio, visual and sensory stimulation designed to give a truly unique and interactive event. Following the success of last year's Zappa Plays Zappa concert at the Roundhouse, Dweezil Zappa and The Zappa Family Trust are delighted to bring the show to the UK in November and December 2011. These performances will see Zappa's eldest son Dweezil and his band Zappa Plays Zappa performing the classic 1974 album Apostrophe in sequence and in its unmitigated entirety, as well as a host of other Zappa favourites. In a final twist, the performance will also feature a section - from grave to stage - in which Frank himself will perform with the band via synchronised audio/video technology using unreleased video footage.
