Music news round-up: Weds 6th August

The Datsuns have announced the forthcoming release of their new album Deep Sleep for 6th October.

Two of the fastest rising acts in the UK country music scene are joining forces for a dual headlining tour of the UK. The Shires and Ward Thomas will take it in turns to headline each night. Both acts have an A-Listed track on BBC Radio 2 and The Shires an iTunes UK Country No.1 with their debut single 'Nashville Grey Skies'. Ward Thomas's debut album "From Where We Stand went to No.1 on both the OCC Country Chart and iTunes' Country Chart.

Tickets are on sale from 9am on Friday 8th August.

Five-time Grammy Award-winning jazz pianist and singer Diana Krall’s new studio album Wallflower is set for release 13th October on Verve Records. The album is a collection of songs from the late 60s to present day that inspired Krall in her early years.

Augustines return with their new single ‘Weary Eyes’ released 8th September on Caroline.
