Music news round-up: Weds 17 April

On June 3rd The Scorpions have their Crazy World album reissued as a 2CD deluxe version on Universal Music. It was the band's 11th studio album and was originally released in 1990 and contains the worldwide hit 'Wind of Change'. The package includes 12 live tracks from their ‘Live Crazy’ world tour along with 4 promotional videos.

Here's the new video from Japanese four piece Taffy. Their new album Lixiviate is released on 17th June this year through Club AC30.

Daytona Lights are all set to release a new EP 'Old Fashioned Love' on May 20th. The EP includes their latest single 'Midnight Beach' along with four brand new tracks. The band will also be heading out on tour this week including a show at The Monarch in London on the 26th April.

Burns releases 'Limitless' on May 13th via Deconstruction/Columbia. He plays The Nest, Dalston, London the day after.

Tom Odell will release a 4 track 12" vinyl for Record Store Day titled ‘The Daytrotter Recordings’, this Saturday April 20th. It follows the release of his debut single ‘Hold Me’ and is a precursor to his debut album Long Way Down, set for release via I.T.N.O/Columbia Records on June 24th.

The 4 tracks were recorded on Monday 15th April in London and are set for a highly limited vinyl run that Tom will then hand deliver to Resident Records, in Brighton.

Mutado Pintado - aka Craig Louis Higgins Jr. - returns on May 27th with 'Blue', the follow-up to last year's 'Carbon Copies' / 'This Life'. Craig will be hitting the road in support of the new single, including a show in Birmingham with Paranoid London.
