With their third album Himalayan now confirmed for release on March 31st next year, Band Of Skulls have announced a UK and European tour to mark its release. Tickets are on sale now and the full details of the UK leg are as follows:

The Killers have announced that new single 'Just Another Girl', taken from their celebratory album Direct Hits, will be released on December 23rd. The video, which you can see below, was directed by Warren Fu and stars Dianna Agron as various incarnations of Brandon Flowers throughout the band's video history.

This week saw MTV Brand New announce their 2014 Shortlist presented by Emporio Armani Diamonds at the Drury Club in London. The ten shortlisted artists will compete in a public vote that opens on December 16th, with the winner announced in early February.

With her full UK tour kicking off in Bristol next week on December 7th, Emily Wells has unveiled a cover of Haddaway's 'What Is Love'. Listen to her take on the 90s dancefloor classic below.

Saturday 10th May will see London host an audio-visual experience built around a concept and line up curated and headlined by Sweden’s Cult of Luna.

Spread across three venues, The Forum, The Dome and Boston Music Room, the first bands to be joining them are Amplifier, God Seed, Amenra, Bossk, Dirk Serries and Blueneck. There will be around 20 more artists announced between now and May, with tickets priced at £30 plus booking fee. For more updates and info, keep an eye on the band’s Facebook page.

After last week’s announcement, Blookdstock festival have added another three bands this week to their 2014 bill. Joining Saturday’s line up are the legendary death metal monsters Carcass and Italian goths Lacuna Coil, with Irish folk metal masters Primordial also make their return to Catton Park.
