Music news round-up: w/e 3 Nov

InsideOut Music have announced the signing of rising young prog-upstarts Maschine. Having recently secured the top spot in Prog Magazine’s Best Unsigned Band Poll, as well as play numerous gigs and festivals, the band's debut full length is due for release early next year.


Former Girls' frontman Christopher Owens is set to play London's St Giles Church on December 10th as part of his first batch of live shows, performing debut album Lysandre (out January 15th through Fat Possum) in full. Tickets are on sale now. Listen to 'Lysandre’s Theme / Here We Go' here.


Australian duo Flight Facilities will release their new single 'Clair De Lune' on December 3rd through Glassnote Records. They play London's Birthdays on Thursday (November 8th). Watch the teaser video for the track below.


'I Knew You Were Trouble' will be the next single released from Taylor Swift's No.1 album RED. The track will be out on December 10th through Big Machine Label Group & Mercury Records. Swift will be in the UK this week to switch on the Christmas lights at Westfield London, Shepherd’s Bush on Tuesday (6th) where, after the switch-on, she will perform three of her hit singles, including ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together’.


The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster will play London's Shepherd's Bush Empire on April 12th. Tickets are on band pre-sale now from the following link - Tickets go on general sale on Tuesday (6th) morning at 9am.


Everything Everything have announced they will embark on a full UK tour next February to celebrate the release of their second album Arc, out on January 14th preceded by new single 'Kemosabe' on January 7th. Tickets are on sale now and full details are as follows:

With their UK tour starting on Monday, Evanescence have announced the release of new single 'Lost In Paradise' on November 12th. As a result of it being featured on last week's X Factor, the band's breakthrough track 'Bring Me To Life' leapt back into the iTunes top 40 this week. December 3rd sees the release of Michael Schenker’s Temple of Rock: Live in Europe that will be released on CD, DVD, Blu-ray and as a Limited Deluxe Edition containing all 3 formats. This release includes songs performed live in Tilburg, The Netherlands in May 2012, and at London’s High Voltage Festival in 2011.
