The Hives are pleased to reveal the new music video for 'Go Right Ahead', directed by Travis Schneider. The video was filmed live during the recording of the album, at RMV Studio on the island of Skeppsholmen in Stockholm. Their new album, Lex Hives, is due out on June 4th and is now available to pre-order on iTunes, alongside a Deluxe Edition that features bonus tracks produced and recorded by Josh Homme.
Ray Davies brings his songbook of classic British hits – from his days in The Kinks up through recent solo repertoire – to the forefront of the national psyche with an appearance at Hop Farm on June 29th and a UK tour with his band later this year. Ben Howard is pleased to announce details of a third night at Brixton Academy later this year. The Devonshire singer-songwriter will now play the London venue on November 30th, in addition to the previously announced, and now sold-out, nights on November 28th and 29th. The shows conclude a full UK tour, which in turn follows a very busy summer of festivals. Tickets are on sale now. Electro-rock duo The Unkindness Of Ravens are celebrating the release of their debut album Virus with a video for the track ‘The Spaces In Between’. Instrumentalist Ben Raine mentions that the song is about an ex-girlfriend: "We had the most messed up on-off thing for so long, but it gave me a lot of fuel to write about." The dark and fetishistic style of the video was inspired by Pam Hogg's fashion designs. "I've been wanting to do something with bondage tape for quite some time now, so this really is the result of all these elements combined," front woman Nina Wagner noted.
Ahead of their forthcoming EP Clairvoyant Fortnight, out on June 11th, Knifeworld have released the video for the EP's title track. The video reflects the song's playful nature and the band's upbeat sense of humour with frontman Kavus Torabi leading a prog induced séance ending in the appearance of snooker legend Steve Davis.

To kick off the Music is GREAT week, Jessie J will play a one-off show at HMV's flagship store in Oxford Street this Monday (14th). Melanie C will be introducing Jessie onto the stage at the event which kicks off at 1.45pm, with admittance on a first come first served basis at the store. The Music Is GREAT DVD will be released on the same day, featuring 14 live performances from the likes of David Bowie, Queen, Radiohead, Spice Girls, Adele and Take That.
Canadian duo PS I Love You have unleashed their Paper Bag Session video for 'How Do You' ahead of the release of their second album Death Dreams, which is set for release on May 28th.
Dead Belgian announce Love & Death: The Songs Of Jacques Brel out July 2nd on Limefield Records. Dead Belgian are a Liverpool-based band playing the music of Jacques Brel. They began life in 2007, inspired to share Brel’s music with all who would listen. Each member brought their own influences to the band, from European folk to progressive rock, stripping the songs to their bare bones and fattening them up again using a ramshackle drum kit, ukulele, guitar, accordion, saxophone, mandolin, clarinet and flute.
