Her first full-length release since 2015’s Froot
Marina Diamandis has announced her new album – the two-part release of LOVE+FEAR which will feature eight tracks on each part. It’s her first full-length release since 2015’s Froot.
LOVE is filled with a longing to enjoy life and a desire to unite and empower, while FEAR sees MARINA delve into matters of purpose and insecurity, also touching on conversations surrounding gender inequality and more broadly, the abuse of power. LOVE+FEAR are declamations that showcase these polarising sides of human nature.
MARINA spent the last two years writing and recording the new record across London, Sweden and LA with esteemed names including Noonie Bao, Sam De Jong, Oscar Görres, Camille Purcell, Justin Parker and Joe Janiak. LOVE +FEAR will be released via Atlantic Records on April 26th.
MARINA has also announced a host of UK and North American tour dates to tie into the release of LOVE+FEAR. The tour will kick off in the UK in May, taking in dates across Newcastle, Glasgow, Bournemouth, Birmingham, Manchester and the iconic Royal Albert Hall in London before ending in North America covering dates throughout September and early October, including Toronto, Montreal, Atlanta, Austin and NYC.
