Japanese Trio The fin. Share New Track

London-based trio, The fin., have today announced details of a new single and their forthcoming debut album.

The single, 'Missing', is released ahead of their debut album There, which is due out on 8th June. Described as synth/dream-pop, Savage Thrills spoke of the album as having "a lightness and dream-like quality"

Talking about the single, lead vocalist and synth player Yuto Uchino said: "When I was a teenager, I didn’t really know what I wanted to do or what I wanted to be. I was trying to forget the problem by concentrating on something. For me, it was playing guitar. I made this guitar riff first, and it has the vibes of the uncertainty that I used to have."

To celebrate the launch of their debut record, The fin. will be performing an exclusive show in London at Thousand Island on the 8th June.

Originating in Kobe, Japan, the band relocated to London after the release of their second EP in 2017. They have spent the last few years supporting a number of well-known acts (The Last Shadow Puppets, MEW) and playing at big festivals (Fuji Rock, SXSW, The Great Escape).
