Glasgow's Yakima Unveil Their Second Single

Glasgow-based four-piece Yakima have today unveiled their second single 'Point of This'.

Taking inspiration from the likes of Pavement, Parquet Courts and Elliot Smith, their fuzzy shoegaze sound is not one to be missed. Clash Magazine described their sound as: "A neat, three-minute indie rock burner..."

Using the draughty, spiderweb-covered gatehouse of a nearby castle as a rehearsal space, the quartet have spun together enough songs for an EP which is coming out soon and a full-length album due out in the slightly more distant future.

The group are also playing a couple of dates in November and December in their hometown of Glasgow.

Thursday 1st November - Yala! Night,  McChuills, Glasgow

Saturday 7th December - Hug & Pint, Glasgow
