First confirmations for the Isle of Wight Festival

The Isle of Wight festival takes place over the weekend of 12th-14th June and features both new talent and more established acts. Tickets are currently available (rates and booking information below) with a total capacity of around 50,000 people, this year's event promises to be massive.

The Line Up

The full line up is to be confirmed, however we'll update this article with act details as they're announced.

21 Jan 2009 - The Prodigy lead the line up for the first round of confirmations. They'll be joined on the main stage by Basement Jaxx, Pendulum and 2008's pop phenomenon The Ting Tings. All four bands will perform on the opening day of the festival.

With the organisers promising that the festival will be "the most electric party the island has ever seen" we await further confirmations with baited breath.
