Festival update: Green Man & Latitude

There have been a few announcements over the last couple of weeks around two of TMF's fave festivals.

First up, Green Man have just announced a new performing arts area, 'Back Of Beyond'. Made up of dance, circus performances, and other arty fare, all of the Welsh variety, it'll be the perfect retreat from the hustle of the music.

A new place of enchantment is beginning to stir within the magic surrounds of Green Man 2016. Hidden by the woods, behind the lively hubbub of the Walled Garden and nestled within the beautiful Fortune Falls, this freshly curated performing arts area Back of Beyond will set the scene for spectacular circus and dance, mischievous encounters and make believe moments with some of Wales’ most talented performers.

Green Man runs from 18th to 21st August at Brecon Beacons and is headlined by Laura Marling, James Blake, and Belle & Sebastian. The whole line-up and ticket details are on the festival website: http://www.greenman.net/

Over in Norfolk, Latitude have been busy building their comedy lineup. With stellar headliners like Bill Bailey and Russell Howard are ably supported by the likes of perennial faves Pappy's, Canada's finest import Katherine Ryan, the Pub Landlord Al Murray, Milton Jones, and a huge number of other acts.

Also recently announced are details of the Literary Arena and Wellcome Trust Hub. For information on the huge variety of Latitude areas and acts, including headliners The Maccabees, New Order, and The National, visit the festival website: http://www.latitudefestival.com/
