Festival round-up: 24th March 2015

Reload Festival melds acts from the 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s together in one weekend of nostalgia in Norwich, from Friday 11th to Sunday 13th September 2015. Added to the line-up are Cheryl, Mike, and Jay (aka ¾ of Bucks Fizz), Simon & Oscar (aka a bit of Ocean Colour Scene), The Beat, Scottish soul popper Kenny Thomas and Altered Images. Weekend tickets are available for £72 and the full line-up so far is on the festival website.

If you want to go to Kendal Calling you’re out of luck as it’s sold out. Still, they’ve added Grandmaster Flash to the already cracking line-up. To look enviously at the line-up and other details visit the festival website.

In a new joint venture between Wilderness, Communion, Superful, Soundcrash and Time Out, Citadel 2015 is a new one day festival set for Sunday 19th July. Featuring a strong line-up of headliner Ben Howard, Bombay Bicycle Club, Kurt Vile & the Violators, Anna Calvi, Steve Gunn, Joe Pug, Honeyblood, Roots Manuva, and lots more across a number of stages and areas. It’s not just music as comedy, sport and food are all part of the event too. Tickets and all details so far are here.

The Summer Series at Somerset House with American Express is back for an eleven night run in London. The headliners for each night this year are July 9 Chromeo, July 10 Gary Cark Jr., July 11 Passenger, July 12 Chronixx, July 13 George Ezra, July 14 Nick Mulvey, July 15 Angus & Julia Stone, July 16 James Bay, July 17 Kwabs, July 18 Belle and Sebastian, July 19 Jessie J. For Farmfestival’s tenth year they welcome back Submotion Orchestra and add All We Are and The Paradise Bangkok Molam International Band to the bill. Headlined by Lamb the festival runs Friday 31 July and Saturday 1 August. Tickets are available now.

Taking place on 15, 16 & 17 May at Braziers Park, near Wallingford, Oxfordshire, Wood Festival has completed its set of announcements and the full line-up plus ticket details are available on Gigantic.

Saturday tickets are already sold out for this year's Cambridge Folk Festival and a chunk of new names have been added to the weekend. On Friday: The Proclaimers; on Saturday: Gretchen Peters, Stornoway, Rhiannon Giddens; on Sunday: Ben Miller Band and Punch Brothers; among others. Weekend and all non-Saturday day tickets are still available from the festival website.

It's a homecoming for Super Furry Animals as they're announced as the third and final headliner for Green Man. Also announced are Slowdive, Public Service Broadcasting, Television, Jamie XX, and the returning Temples.
