Festival news round-up: 4th June 2015

Festival season is here, the first days and nights in fields have happened and it all kicks off in earnest with Field Day Festival and Isle Of Wight Festival in the next couple of weeks. So here’s the final round of festival additions.

Latitude adds to its tenth anniversary line-up with a host of new acts: Summer Camp, Nitin Sawhney, Zola Jesus, The Unthanks, Eaves, East India Youth, and a whole bunch more. These add to the recent announcement of Warpaint, Badly Drawn Boy and The Charlatans, to go with headliners Portishead, Alt-J, and Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds. Camp Bestival day tickets are now on sale and available from the festival website. The lineup includes the likes of Clean Bandit, Professor Green, Kaiser Chiefs, Level 42, Underworld, and Ella Henderson.

Saturday 13th June sees Bushstock open its doors, across six venues in Shepherd’s Bush. Final acts announced are Villagers, Nadine Shah, Sophie Jamieson, Banfi, Frances, Charlotte OC, The Beach. All info and tickets are available on the festival website.

Oxfordshire’s Truck Festival added a bunch of new names recently: Temples, Public Service Broadcasting, and Clean Bandit head the list along with Summer Camp and Dog Is Dead. Tickets are almost sold out so get to the Truck website fast to snag yours.

July’s Summertyne Americana Festival has added to its lineup with homegrown talent Ags Connolly and Red Sky July to its US legend heavy headliners, including Rosanne Cash and Emmylou Harris. Tickets, timings, and the rest of the acts can be found on the festival website.

Blissfields is celebrating its 15th year in field in Hampshire. The 2015 lineup includes John Grant, The Horrors, Public Service Broadcasting, Glass Animals, Grandmaster Flash, Novelist, Simian Mobile Disco, Songhoy Blues. Running from 2nd to 4th July tickets are available from the festival website.
