Cranberries Reunion Confirmed
Further to recent rumours, Dolores O'Riordan and the original members of The Cranberries have confirmed that they will re-unite for their first live tour in seven years.
O' Riordan recently cancelled her planned North American solo tour on the eve of the release of her lauded new album No Baggage, fanning the flames of the re-union rumours. However, it seems that everyone will be happy, as Dolores confirmed that in addition to performing the greatest hits from the Limerick band's illustrious career, the upcoming shows will also highlight tracks from her latest solo album.
The Cranberries' guitarist and co-songwriter Noel Hogan commented "Over the last few years, each member of the band has had time to work on different projects and learn so much from their experience. Now the time is right for The Cranberries to bring all of this together and move forward."
Live dates are yet to be confirmed, but are expected to commence in November and continue into 2010. The band are also working on new material.
