Coldplay singer asks for charges to be dropped - Coldplay - court case
Coldplay frontman, and soon to be Mr Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin has asked Australian police to drop a charge of malicious damage.
Martin was charged in the summer after allegedly breaking a car windscreen after being photographed. At a court appearance in New South Wales on Wednesday his lawyer asked for the charge, which carries a maximum sentence of 5 years jail time, to be dropped.
The case has been adjourned until 21st November.
