Brother Bear Soundtrack Album On 24 November

As Christmas 2003 draws near, Walt Disney prepares to release Brother Bear, which follows the incredible adventures of a young man named Kenai who is miraculously transformed into a bear. From his new perspective, Kenai discovers the world through the eyes of another, and is befriended by a bear cub named Koda. Along the way Kenai encounters a pair of misguided moose and finds himself pursued by his own sibling.

Of possible interest to CD Times readers is the soundtrack album. Featuring six new songs by Phil Collins, this CD will be released via Disney Records on 24 November 2003.

In addition to the six new songs, Phil Collins has also co-composed the score with Mark Mancina (Training Day, Speed) on his first soundtrack project since the 1999's 2-million selling Tarzan. Although Tina Turner's performance on the opening track Great Spirits kicks off the festivities, other key collaborations include the legendary gospel group The Blind Boys of Alabama and vocalist Orem Waters.

The release of the film will follow the release of this soundtrack album by opening nationwide at UK cinemas on December 5th.
