A Beautiful Night from Knight

Beverley Knight is releasing the first single, Beautiful Night, from her eagerly awaited forthcoming 6th studio album, ‘100%’, on September 7th. A stunning, bittersweet lament, ‘Beautiful Night’ superbly combines Beverley’s heartfelt vocals over haunting synthesiser runs, vocal harmonies, and an infectious piano hook to create a soul/pop classic. Check out the video here:

Beautiful Night was co- written by Beverley with multi million selling songwriter Amanda Ghost (Beyonce, Shakira, James Blunt), and produced by hot up-and-coming London based duo The Rural (Gym Class Heroes, Beyonce). The song is both poignant and uplifting, about love and loss - in Beverley’s own words ‘It’s about holding on to the moment you are in, because sooner or later you may have to say goodbye to that person you love’.

‘Beautiful Night’ comes with a pair of slamming remixes from rising urban stars Crazy Cousinz. Both the Club Mix and the Funky Mix will be rocking dancefloors and airwaves through the summer.

The single is lifted from Beverley’s forthcoming album ‘100%’, a set that sees triple Mobo award winning Knight working with illustrious former writing partners Guy Chambers (Robbie Williams) and Jimmy Hogarth (Adele, Duffy) as well as with multi Grammy Award winning legends Jam and Lewis, and Ivor Novello winning songwriter Amanda Ghost. The album also features a duet with soul legend Chaka Khan.

September also sees the launch of Knight’s cosmetics range for dark skin: “K by Beverley Knight”, to be launched exclusively in Selfridges stores and rolled out to John Lewis and other retailers afterwards.
