Yuck! Teenage Fanclub

Not content simply with producing some of the most raggedly heart bursting indie rock songs in recent memory, or touring with the likes of Japandroids, Smith Westerns, Dinosaur Jr and Built to Spill, or releasing extraordinarily swoonsome tracks as free downloads – as they did with the lovely, lovelorn “Suicide Policeman” earlier this month – the young London quartet known only as Yuck have also just scored three shows with the elder statesmen of perfect pop, Teenage Fanclub themselves.

Beginning later this month – and sandwiching their appearances at Dot to Dot Festival (but one in a string of summer festivals they’ll be popping up at) – Yuck will be playing in Manchester, Sheffield and Aberdeen with the newly reformed, critically adored Scottish tunesmiths, in a handful of shows that will prove nigh on unmissable. Make sure you catch them now, before the rest of the world clasps them to their hearts.
