Rockness 2012 line-up announced

The first acts have been announced for RockNess 2012 with Mumford & Sons, Biffy Clyro, Deadmau5, Ed Sheeran, Justice and many more heading to the Scottish Highlands from 8th to 10th June.

This year there's going to be a new way of getting to RockNess for festivalgoers around the UK: The RockNess Express is a specially chartered train departing London picking up festivalgoers in Birmingham, Derby, York and Newcastle before arriving in Inverness where they'll get priority access to the festival site before anyone else arrives.

Other acts so far announced include METRONOMY * NOAH AND THE WHALE * WRETCH 32 * FRESH / LIVE * AZEALIA BANKS * BEARDYMAN * DEATH IN VEGAS * CHIC featuring NILE RODGERS * ETIENNE DE CRECY * TOTALLY ENORMOUS EXTINCT DINOSAURS * BUSY P * GESAFFELSTEIN * RITON * THE CUBAN BROTHERS * FILTH djs * POLYMATH * COUNT CLOCKWORK ... with many more to come.

RockNess 2012 takes place 8-10 June, 2012 in the village of Dores, close to Inverness in the Scottish Highlands.

The festival won the NME AWARDS 2011 ‘BEST SMALL FESTIVAL’ and ‘LINE UP OF THE YEAR’ at the UK FESTIVAL AWARDS 2010.
