Reading and Leeds 2012 tickets on sale March 12th

Festival Republic have confirmed that tickets for this year's Reading and Leeds festivals will go on sale on Monday 12th March at 7.15pm.

Headliners for the festivals will also be revealed at the same time for the twin-site festival which takes place over the August bank holiday weekend (24th-26th) at Little Johns Farm in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds. You can choose to pay for your tickets this year in either a two-part or four-part instalment plan to spread the cost. Details on these are available at the following websites:

Leeds - www.leedsfestival.com/2011/news/article/ticket_instalment_plan

This year also sees the introduction of a Reading and Leeds apprenticeship and internship scheme. On offer are two 12-month apprenticeships (one for Reading and one for Leeds) as well as ten internship placements of up to three weeks, giving 2012 ticket holders the chance to get involved in all aspects of producing the festivals. The placements will be based in London or on site in Reading and Leeds, with basic expenses covered.

Applicants - who must be between 18 and 25 years old - will be asked to compose a letter of no more than 500 words on why they would like to be considered for an internship, giving details on the area they would prefer to work in. Full details on how to apply and the dates applicants would need to be available will be posted on the Reading and Leeds websites from March 12th.
