New album from Superchunk
Indie-rock luminaries Superchunk have announced their first new album in almost ten years with the release of Majesty Shredding. It issued by One Four Seven Records on 4 October.
As Superchunk-members Mac and Laura have found, time tends to fly-by when you're running one of the biggest US independent labels - Merge Records (US home for the likes of Arcade Fire, Neutral Milk Hotel and Spoon etc).
They may have intermittently played shows in the US since 2001 and released a handful of singles and EPs when time allowed, but 'Majesty Shredding' is the first full length album from these cult indie-rock legends in nearly a decade.
