Catfish and the Bottlemen make a most welcome return with their explosive new single ‘Soundcheck’, written by Van McCann and produced by Dave Sardy. It’s the first taste from the band’s eagerly anticipated new album due for release later this year.

“I feel like the last album was the support band, or even the soundcheck and this one’s the headliner,” Van says.

Their debut album, ‘The Balcony’, sold over 210,000 copies in the UK so far, and has earned the band three NME nominations and just recently a Brit Award nomination for Best Breakthrough Act.

Catfish and the Bottlemen play headline shows May 28 at Liverpool Sound City and July 8 at Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl where all 8000 tickets went in just ten minutes.

The band play the following UK festivals:

July 15th Truck Festival, Hill Farm, Oxfordshire
July 28th Kendall Calling, Lake District
July 29th Y Not Festival, Derbyshire

Catfish And The Bottlemen are: Van McCann (vocals/guitar), Johnny Bond (guitar), Benji Blakeaway (bass) and Bob Hall (drums).
