Japanese Queen tribute band land in February

Just when you thought there were possibly too many tribute bands to co-exist on one planet, Japan Underground announces its latest show, set to take place at London’s The Pipeline on Saturday 4th Feb.

Headlining the event is Queen tribute act Queer; a group of relative newcomers, having formed as early as last May, but who have so far enjoyed gigging around Tokyo with other cover artists such as An Chovi, Platinum Snake and Kameido City Rollers. We’ll let you figure those ones out.

Priding themselves on delivering an authentic experience, Queer promises to please the most hardcore fans with what should undoubtedly be a fun and lively show. Check out highlights of one of their recent performances here:

In support will be London-based artist Jake Emlyn and guitar soloist Kenji Suzuki, also of Simply Red fame.
