Hurts album gets new push

Hurts will release a deluxe edition of their debut album Happiness on 31st October which will include additional tracks and a DVD featuring a live concert and all of the bands music videos including the previously online only original ‘Wonderful Life’ video.

Hurts are currently on a European tour which will culminate in a headline show at London’s Brixton Academy on 4th November, marking the end of the ‘Happiness’ campaign.

The deluxe album will be the first time that all of the band’s songs will be on one format, including live favourites ‘Happiness’ and ‘Confide in Me’, as well as their festive song ‘All I Want for Christmas is New Year’s Day’ which has previously been available on 7” only. It also comes with a DVD of one of the band’s biggest summer shows, at Berlin’s Zitadelle Spandau. The 16-camera film has the band’s full show filmed live in front of 8000 people and the gig was previously streamed live on the Hurts Facebook page and watched by more than 100,000 people.
