Girl Rock Night with Japan Underground
On Friday 19th October Japan Underground hosts its latest - and perhaps biggest - event, squeezing four female-led acts into an evening which promises plenty of variety.
Kicking things off will be Jun Okada, with what looks to be a pleasant acoustic set, leading into a solo performance from Yucca keyboardist Yuki Kawana, who this time will be brandishing a Fender Mustang for her American indie-pop inspired numbers.
Shibuya-Kei indie producer Sayuri Hashimoto brings her solo project miette-one to the stage, which promises an assortment of quirky, lo-fi sounds, while new rock group 33Insanity’sVertebra headlines in the hopes of attracting an overseas audience through their hard-hitting sound.
