Get Far Out After Dark with the Green Man

Strange things happen after dark, and this summer Green Man is taking you further out than ever before…When the lights on the Main Stage go down Green Man is only just getting started, so join him in the Far Out After Dark tent where a trio of very special guests curate three nights of pulsating beats and trippy visuals as heady and potent as the local Welsh cider.

Audio-visual pioneers Hexstatic have spent 15 years pushing and blurring the boundaries of sound and vision - all in the name of hedonism and having a good time. The Guggenheim, The Pompidou Centre and The Getty Museum are just some of the esteemed institutions to be given the Hexstatic treatment, now it’s your turn as they present some of the best experimental - and just downright mental - AV experiences known to man to bend your mind into shape for the weekend.
Joining the boys will be jedi turntablist and sampler par excellence DJ Yoda, Ninja Tunes mixing maestros DJ Food & DK and Bristol-based manipulator of sight and sound Cheeba.

London/Brighton dance band Metronomy have remixed tracks for the likes of Roots Manuva, Franz Ferdinand, Goldfrapp and Klaxons, as well as releasing two brilliant albums of acclaimed art-rock/funk/electronic dancefloor fillers in their own right. Their all-singing, all dancing, costumed, light-driven live shows are not to be missed, making them the perfect party people make sure Saturday night goes with a bang. Support comes in the form of a very special DJ set, dirty dubstep from James Blake and the wicked Wild Geese.

Their last-minute, leotard-clad, law-bothering raves are legendary, so let London/Berlin label Greco Roman really ruin your Monday morning back at work with a spectacular send-off to Green Man 2010. Avant garde electronic wizard Matthew Herbert, Gold Panda and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs will join Greco Roman DJs including Ross Allen to stave off the comedown and close the festival on a glorious, sky-scraping high. Our 24-hour festival licence means the bars will stay open as long as your eyelids do, and you can even grab a refreshing cuppa tea on your way back to the tent as dawn rises – if you make it that far.
