SAXON, CATHEDRAL and HAMMERFALL
High Voltage is the must-see rock event of 2010 – a two-day festival featuring the very best in classic rock, progressive rock and metal. Custom built by rock fans, for rock fans.
All three bands will appear on Saturday, 24 July on the Metal Hammer stage.
SAXON are one of the legendary British heavy metal bands and their appearance at High Voltage marks the 30th anniversary of the release of two of their classic albums, Wheels Of Steel and Strong Arm Of The Law.
CATHEDRAL, led by former Napalm Death vocalist Lee Dorrian, are a legendary name among metal aficionados. Almost 20 years after they released their hugely influential debut Forest Of Equilibrium, Cathedral will be unveiling a new album, The Guessing Game.
HAMMERFALL, from Sweden, are one of the leading names in European power metal. Their current album No Sacrifice, No Victory is their first with new guitarist Pontus Norgren and features a cover of The Knack’s 1979 hit My Sharona.

Prog Stage: Transatlantic, Opeth, Asia, Dweezil Zappa, Focus, Pendragon, Touchstone.

Main Stage: Emerson, Lake & Palmer, Joe Bonamassa, Bachman & Turner, UFO, Quireboys.
Metal Hammer Stage: Down, Venom, Clutch, High On Fire, Audrey Horne, Lethargy.
Prog Stage: Marillion, Argent, Uriah Heep, Magnum, Steve Hackett, Martin Turner’s Wishbone Ash, The Reasoning.
Standard tickets are prices £135 (for weekend tickets) and £75 (for day tickets).
There is no booking fee for Classic Rock Presents High Voltage tickets.
