Dawn Kinnard is on the Wrong Side

Fresh from supporting the legendary Patti Smith tonight by personal request, Pennsylvania's Dawn Kinnard returns this year with her second album ‘Wrong Side Of The Dream’. The daughter of a preacher man, she released her debut album back in 2008. Acclaimed by the press, Kinnard went on to appear on 'Later With Jools holland' that year, as well as performing duets with Ed Harcourt, Ron Sexsmith and Jason Mraz.

This September she'll return with her stunning new album 'Wrong Side Of The Dream'. Produced by Martin Terefe, whose previous work includes Martha Wainwright and James Morrison, the album is a succulently beautiful collection of songs. Written during a 6 months road trip Dawn took throughout the states with just her Dog and Gold Fish for company, the album is brimming with funny, sharp and poignant lyrics they tell insightful tales of heartbreak, defiance, love and loss.
