Cribs sell-out for Wichita

Trailblazing independent record label Wichita Recordings celebrate their 10th Anniversary with a four-night run of shows at The Garage, London in July.

Confirmed headliners are The Cribs, First Aid Kit, Lissy Trullie and Los Campesinos! with support from Those Dancing Days, Young Legionnaire, Peggy Sue, Meg Baird, Skylarkin, Lovvers, Frankie & The Heartstrings and Johnny Foreigner!

Special guest DJs across the nights will include Simian Mobile Disco, Gruff Rhys, Huw Stephens, Gold Panda, Lisa Milberg, Veronica Falls, Maris Piper and more. Wichita goodie bags will be given away to the first 200 through the door each night.

Wichita’s debut release in July 2000 was an album titled Fevers & Mirrors by a young Nebraskan songwriter called Conor Oberst, aka Bright Eyes. Since then the independent label have signed and nurtured some of the most exciting and unique artists of the past decade including Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Cribs, My Morning Jacket, Les Savy Fav, Simian Mobile Disco, The Bronx, Peter, Bjorn & John, First Aid Kit, Peggy Sue and most recently Frankie & The Heartstrings.
