CMA Songwriters Series returns to the UK in 2015

The Country 2 Country (C2C) Festival is bringing the Country Music Association (CMA) Songwriters Series back to London on Friday 6th March 2015. Once again being held at indigo at The O2, the night before C2C, the evening will be hosted by Kix Brooks and feature Brandy Clark, Sam Palladio, Jessi Alexander and Jon Randall.

Showcasing some of the best songwriters in country music today the two hour show will include the writers telling the stories behind their songs, and performing them acoustically. The Songwriters Series is a unique chance to see behind the scenes of country music and hear from some of the creative forces behind the songs.

Host Kix Brooks is best known as one half of legendary duo Brooks & Dunn and now hosts a popular radio show alongside his solo career. Brandy Clark has not only had success with her debut solo album, 12 Stories in the last twelve months but also won a CMA Song of the Year Award in 2014 for co-writing Kacey Musgraves’ ‘Follow Your Arrow’. Cornwall’s Sam Palladio is fresh out of Nashville, the TV show and the city, and is a singer-songwriter in his own right outside of the television show. Husband and wife duo Jon Randall and Jessi Alexander are successful songwriters with credits writing songs for the like of Reba McEntire, Trisha Yearwood, Lee Brice and co-writing Blake Shelton’s number one ‘Drink On It’.
