Chapterhouse announce one-off London date

Press release:

The legendary British shoegaze band CHAPTERHOUSE have announced a rare performance at London's Scala on 18 March, which will be their only UK club show of 2010. The band has not reformed, so due to personal commitments their only other plans include a couple of European festival dates (TBA) following a short tour of the US and Japan in May.

The Scala show is curated by Club AC30, who persuaded Chapterhouse to get together for their first performance in 14 years at their 'Reverence' night at the ICA in November 2009, and the gig will be a celebration of the label's sixth birthday which is coming up in April.

Supporting Chapterhouse will be the newly reformed ENGINEERS, who will be playing one of their first shows with Ulrich Strauss as a full-time member. Also playing is AIR FORMATION, whose new album 'Nothing to Wish For (Nothing to Lose)' will be released through Club AC30 on 1 March.
