T In The Park 2016 - Sunday - Strathallan Castle
My final day at 2016's T In The Park was a wet and muddy affair.
The rain wasn't as bad as the previous day, but it had made it's mark on the ground beneath my feet!
I'd missed a couple of Saturday bands due to sheltering from a torrential downpour in the press tent the previous evening, so decided to catch as many acts as I could, starting with two in the main arena - The Rogue Orchestra performing a tribute to Bowie and Prince, and Liverpool's Lightning Seeds.
I'd forgotten how many good songs Ian Brodie's band had up their sleeves, and was happy to take them in, even in the rain. It was also good to see Zutons sax player Abi Harding onstage with Ian, as think it's been a few years since she's graced a TITP stage.
T's main stage had a decent line up, but I did find more that tickled my fancy elsewhere on Strathallan site, including an animated Paul Smith fronting Maximo Park on the Radio One stage, Electro Pop newcomer Dua Lipa knocking them dead at King Tuts and Ginger Wildheart's Hey Hello winning a curious crowd over big style, at the T Break stage.
My 2016 TITP ended with a headline set from Red Hot Chili Peppers. While not my favourite band in the World, it was still fun to shoot, bar a lot of their first song, where they all played at the back, so photographers couldn't see anything!
It was an enjoyable end to my second Strathallan T anyway, so hopefully a third will be on the cards in 2017.
