Rewind Scotland - Sunday - Scone Palace, Perthshire

The sun shone for the second day of Rewind Scotland, except for pretty much the duration of the Boomtown Rats stint, which was a bit of a bind as their teatime slot showed they should have been the event's headliners. Sir Bob and his boys produced a hit soaked set, including chart toppers 'Rat Trap' and 'I Don't Like Mondays', tracks that were rapturously received by the Rewind rabble.

Naturally The Rats weren't the only Sunday stand outs, with memorable moments coming early in the day from The South, with the band airing several huge Beautiful South singles from the 90s and the Two Tone sounds of The Selecter sounding just as exciting as they did back in the day.

The evening also brought a terrific performance from ex-Fine Young Cannibals vocalist Roland Gift (though I'd loved to have heard 'Johnny Come Home') and a slightly croaky appearance from Marc Almond, who had the crowd in his hands, happily obliging the singer with a bit of help during the anthemic 'Say Hello, Wave Goodbye' and his Gene Pitney duet 'Something's Gotten Hold Of My Heart'.
