The Music Six: Daytona Lights

London, eh? What must it be like? We imagine it to be a city of opportunity, where young men and young ladies can party, have fun and earn their fortune. Some may even become stars - or Lord Mayor even! A city of wonders. One day we'll get there, mother. One day.

Daytona Lights already live that dream - although their name references the gaudy pleasures of Florida, USA rather than the phantasmagorical streets around North and East London. Their weapon of choice is guitar pop. Names like Aztec Camera and Duran Duran have been whispered. An EP, Old Fashioned Love, is released on 20th May. Expect support from many of your favourite radio personalities.

You know the score by now. Artist picks some videos. You watch them and think 'Good choice, geezer.' It's called The Music Six because there's six videos. It's not complicated.

Girls - Honey Bunny

Dan: A bright summery video with Christopher Owens driving really fast cars and hanging with beautiful girls. Beach Boys-esque

Dems - Desire

Lou: Based on a Greek Myth. The lads in the band did the video themselves. Dark and alluring.

Fat Boy Slim - Weapon of Choice

Sam: Christopher Walken just having a little dance. Such an energetic and exciting video. That's it.

Dexys Midnight Runners - This Is What's She Like

Dan: The strange and beautiful world of Kevin Rowland. Any video that has a man floating down the street is perfect in my eyes. Reminds me of The Hudsucker Proxy by the Cohen Brothers.

Antony and the Johnsons - Cut The World

Dan:A great cinematic short story that compliments his delicately crafted lyrics. A special video to me.

Talking Heads - Road To Nowhere

Loz: A massive influence on our band!
