'No Roots' was a big song for Alice Merton in 2018, and her 2019 has been building on that with her debut album, Mint, and it's deluxe companion just released. We caught up with Alice to talk about her 2019.

What’s been the most exciting thing you’ve done in 2019?

The most exciting thing would be playing Coachella.

What’s been your biggest challenge of 2019?

The biggest, but also most interesting, challenge was being a coach on The Voice of Germany for the first time.

Where’s the coolest place you’ve played music in 2019?

Coolest place I’ve played music in 2019 would be in Mexico for the first time and Corona Capital Festival.

What’s the one album you’ve loved most in 2019?

I love Lewis Capaldi's album Divinely Uninspired To A Hellish Extent.

What’s been the song that’s most soundtracked your 2019?

'Grace' by Lewis Capaldi.

What have you hated about 2019?

Not having enough time.

What are you most excited about for in 2020?

Releasing new music!
