Nowhere Boy set for Blu-Ray & DVD

Icon Home Entertainment release Sam Taylor-Wood's John Lennon rock and roll biopic "Nowhere Boy" on DVD and Blu-ray on May 10th.

"Nowhere Boy" documents John Lennon's teenage years and his introduction to music - from first band The Quarrymen - to his early relationship with Paul McCartney and George Harrison, all of which traces the birth of The Beatles and their historic trip to Hamburg.

Featuring a screenplay from Matt Greenhalgh (Joy Division’s "Control"), "Nowhere Boy" includes a career-defining performance from Aaron Johnson (Kick Ass), recently honoured with "Best Newcomer" at the Empire Awards for his portrayal of the young John Lennon, plus BAFTA nominated Best Supporting Actress performances from Kristin Scott Thomas as Aunt Mimi and Anne Marie Duff as Lennon's mother Julia. Bonus features include Director's Audio Commentary, Extended Interviews, Deleted Scenes and several featurettes including "Lennon's Liverpool" and "The Re-creation of the Quarrymen".
