Cranes are back

As one of the major players in the UK's original shoegaze scene, Cranes were one of the first rock bands to put the seaside town of Portsmouth on the musical map (it says here!). With parallels drawn with Cocteau Twins and Einstürzende Neubauten and a tour supporting the Cure under their belt they fast became one of the most popular dream-pop bands on the UK scene. Several seminal albums later they return on 7th April 2010 for an intimate one off show at the Jazz Café, supported by neo-pop contortionists Mothlite. Weird and wonderful soundscapes all round then!
