Frankie & The Heartstrings Single & Live Dates

Frankie & The Heartstrings are set to play a handful of NME Awards shows in February as they work on the follow up to ‘Hunger’ / ‘Fragile’, their (sold out) debut 7” released by Rough Trade in December.

While 'Hunger' gathered abundant spins on 6Music (A List), Radio 1 (daytime and evening) and Radio 2 (Steve Lamacq Band of the Week), Frankie & The Heartstrings played a string of brilliant gigs including a run with Florence & The Machine. At the start of the year they were tipped for success in 2010 with a host of great Ones to Watch features running in the press.

PopSex Ltd

Popsex Ltd is both a label and an archive, a “catalogue of collective obsessions” compiled by the band. Check out to purchase releases, t-shirts and request free stuff such as mixtapes, downloads and other special F&TH related items. The band’s first PopSex Ltd release is a 10” vinyl titled “12.09.09”, available now from the archive, at shows and from select independent record stores. The six track EP was recorded live at The Independent in Sunderland on 12th September, is limited to 500 copies, and comes in a custom F&THS / PopSex Ltd bag with a fanzine written and designed by the band, a four-badge set and a postcard.

Frankie & The Heartstrings headline Huw Stephens’ free ‘Happy Huw Year 2010!’ Tour this month with Islet and Swanton Bombs. In February they play a run of shows on the Club NME Awards Tour followed by an Awards Show in London with Girls.
