New Download from The Northwestern

The Northwestern have released two new tracks (one including a Christmas song) this week in aid of their friend and former soundman Lee Pasfield.

You can download the tracks here:

Here's a message direct from The Northwestern explaining the tracks:
"Hello Everyone.....
This download was originally intended to be a free Christmas gift for those who fancied it from The Northwestern.
After hearing that a dear friend of ours is suffering from a terminal illness, we now offer these songs on a 'pay what you can' basis. All monies collected will be sent on to our friend Lee Pasfield. Lee was HopeOfTheStates soundman from the start until our final shows. If you ever saw a giant of a man with a cheeky grin manning the sounddesk and putting up with our moaning about the sound onstage, that was Lee. He was the dude who always had to try desperately to get my voice to carry over the patented HOTS 'war-rawk' guitars! He went on to work with various other bands including Maximo Park and Blood Red Shoes, so if the sound was bad at their shows too, he's the man to blame!

If you can spare some money to help Lee, his wife and children, it would mean a huge amount to him and to us. It's a tough time of year to ask for some money we know, but a friend needs a hand, and if a couple of songs can help at all, here they are. Ps- Please pass this around to as many folks as you can! Ta for your time and hope y'all like the songs!
