Gladiator feat. Izzy ‘Now We Are Free’
Gladiator are London based duo Bobak Rembrandt and Dave Lambert. 23 year old Bobak has already produced numerous club tracks and heavyweight remixes for the likes of Darude, Bryan Adams and even Queen. A future collaboration is also planned with fellow Iranians Deep Dish. In his 15 year DJ career, Dave Lambert has spun all over the world playing sets in Ibiza, Paris, Amsterdam, Colombia and LA. He is currently resident DJ at London’s longest running weekly trance night Peach. As well as various remixes and productions, Dave also produced the club hit 10 Revolutions ‘Get Down For The Revolution’ in 2003.
The Gladiator film inspired anthem ‘Now We Are Free’ is the first track based on the film to ever receive the official green light from the original composer, Academy Award-winning Hans Zimmer. Gladiator teamed up with classical vocalist and Brit Nominee Izzy to perform on the track. Talented Izzy has already achieved two No. 1 classical albums as a solo artist with huge success in the UK, Japan and South East Asia. Izzy herself loves dance music and spends most of her spare time clubbing all over London.
Top Radio One DJ Judge Jules immediately made ‘Now We Are Free’ a Tried and Tested tune and has since given ‘Now We Are Free’ three months of solid club and radio support. ‘Now We Are Free’ was also voted Web Chart Winner twice (an audience vote) on his Saturday Radio One show. Likewise, Radio 1’s Dave Pearce and other DJ’s such as Tall Paul, Ferry Corsten and Colin Tevendale have all been hammering ‘Now We Are Free’ at packed clubs up and down the UK. ‘Now We Are Free’ has also been Top 5 in the influential Buzz Chart and No 1 in Music Week’s Cool Cuts Chart.
