Swn is quite soon

SWN Festival is pleased to announce an additional 29 acts to its 2009 line-up!

Scotland’s The Twilight Sad will bring their incredible live sound to Cardiff alongside legendary DJ and electronic taste-maker Mary Anne Hobbs.

Marina and the Diamonds will cap a phenomenal season of festivals with an appearance in the Welsh capital as well as Birmingham’s very own DIY band Johnny Foreigner.

If there is one thing you’re guaranteed at SWN it’s emerging talent and 2009 is no different. You can expect special performances from the likes Unicorn Kid, Decimals, Dimbley and Capper, Fredrick Stanley Star and Threatmantics.

Further highlights include The Victorian English Gentlemen’s Club, Goldheart Assembly and Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

And how could we forget SWN’s very own sumo wrestling competition ‘Swn-Mo Wrestling’! Not to be missed!

SWN Festival is curated by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and takes place over the 22, 23 & 24 of October.
