Plant your own tree with Bibio

Warp’s latest luminary Bibio has planted a virtual forest to celebrate the release of his first album for the label, ‘Ambivalence Avenue’.

Bibio aka Stephen Wilkinson uses a combination of analogue and electronic equipment to make his music, incorporating his fascination with nature into his work through the numerous countryside recordings he collects from his surroundings. Bibio’s virtual forest is the perfect way to further explore the marriage of technology and nature found in Bibio’s verdant sonic landscapes, please visit the following link to design your own tree http://warp.net/records/bibio/forest

Within the virtual forest, people can design, decorate their own trees and give them a unique soundtrack from Bibio's music and sound recordings, and even control the weather. Once created the trees are planted in the forest to be seen and enjoyed by everyone they can also be sent to friends via Facebook.

‘Ambivalence Avenue’ was released on the 22nd June to great critical acclaim and excerpts are also available to stream whilst you make your tree at Warp.net.
