Fightstar will Never Change
With their future now in their own hands with current album, ‘be human’ set on their own Search and Destroy label Fightstar’s incredible story of triumph and credibility against the odds continues. Having overcome the doubters and established themselves as one of the names in British rock, as evidenced by ‘be human’ scoring the band a Top 20 album placing, the band are now set to be release a new single “Never Change” on July 20th . “This song sonically represents the happier more upbeat side of the new album, it's the first song we have written that you could almost dance to...! Never change is about making the most of your youth. For us it is a nostalgic throw back to our teenage years when we had no responsibility and all there was to worry about was having a good time” says singer Charlie Simpson.
The single also comes loaded with a fantastic selection of B-Sides, including a brilliant acoustic version of ‘Never Change’.
The band have just finished a sold out headline UK tour, recently played at the Albert Hall for the Teenage Cancer Trust, appeared at Radio 1’s Big Weekend event and played an amazing set at Download to 30,000 passionate fans. They have also been confirmed to headline the 2000 Trees festival this year, as well as appearing on the main stages at the Reading and Leeds festivals. They've also designed and launched their own iPhone app last month. The game is based on their album sleeve and is available from iTunes and includes a competition to win two PRS guitars.
