Gruntfest: a festival of grunting
You imagine the ENT Department will be busy after this.
Gruntfest 2009 is a charity all day metal event which will take place on 18th April at The Music Cafe, Leicester.
Intentions of this event include promoting the most fresh and impressive talent the UK Metal Underground has to offer as well as raising awareness for the "Musicians Benevolent Fund."
The MBF is the music business's own charity - the largest in the UK, helping around 1,500 people of any age and in any area of the music business who are in need as a result of illness, accident or other misfortune. Each case is treated individually and in the strictest of confidence.
The MBF will do all in its power to enable beneficiaries to resume their careers; when this is not possible it can help in a number of ways. Trained visitors can call on beneficiaries in their own homes to assess their needs and to offer practical help and advice.
The MBF also works closely with other charities and gives substantial financial help and support to the British Association for Performing Arts Medicine.
